It all began on a lively night in Fort Lauderdale at the grand opening of Bova’s—an event Chad was producing. He arrived that evening with a date, but his heart wasn’t fully present. Trusting his instincts, he did the right thing, brought her home, and returned to Bova’s to ensure the event was unfolding just as planned. When he stepped back inside, the energy was electric. The room was alive. That’s when friends pulled him aside and said, “That’s the kind of girl you need to be with.”Across the dance floor stood Jacqueline—eﬀortlessly beautiful, surrounded by friends,completely in her own world. Not one, but two diﬀerent people encouraged him to go ask her to dance. So he did. Chad walked right up, interrupted her conversation, and introduced himself. Jacqueline looked at him and said, “Can’t you see I’m talking to someone?” Smiling, he replied, “So… do you want to dance?”Her answer: “No, not right now.”Time passed. Encouragement followed. He tried again.Her response this time? “Maybe later.”That maybe later turned into something much more. Eventually, they met again by the entrance, and conversation came eﬀortlessly. They laughed, talked, and felt an undeniable connection. When Chad asked where she was from, she said, “Here.”He joked, “Oh wow, you live right here in Bova’s? Is your bedroom upstairs?”She laughed—and in that laugh, he knew.When Chad asked for her number so they could dance another time, Jacqueline said she didn’t give out her number. Instead, she asked for his. He replied, “Well, I don’t give out my number either. ”She laughed again and said, “Well, I guess that sucks for both of us.” Eventually, he gave her his number. She texted him that night. The next day, they talked more. Jacqueline shared that she was a flight attendant but was considering a new career in the event industry. Chad laughed and asked, “Did you Google me?” Confused, she replied, “No? Why would I? ”That’s when he revealed the twist—he owned event companies and had produced the very event where they met. She had no idea. Naturally, she asked if he was hiring. Chad joked that he’d have to check, adding that it might be awkward since he didn’t allow dating within the business.Life, of course, had other plans. What began as working together slowly turned into dates. Those dates blossomed into a friendship. That friendship deepened into something real and lasting. They discovered how much they shared—a love for life, animals, family, skiing, adventure, entertaining, spontaneity,and simply enjoying each moment. When Jacqueline met Chad’s children, Brianna, Shayla, and Ashlyn, everything changed. She fell in love with them instantly, and Chad saw just how naturally she fit into his life. Jacqueline witnessed the depth of Chad’s love for his children, his family, and the people around him.Chad, in turn, saw in Jacqueline a heart overflowing with love—for family, animals, life, and the beauty of being present. There were many unforgettable dates, but one stood out. One evening, Chad surprised Jacqueline with a path of roses. She was frozen—completely speechless. Soon after, they planned a ski trip together. It was magical. Jacqueline didn’t want to leave. And yet, she intentionally avoided being together on Valentine’s Day—afraid it might mean things were getting serious. The truth was, they already were. They never rushed. They cherished the journey—magical nights, laughter, friendships, andmemories. Their relationship grew not only between them, but within their families as well.From trips to North Carolina, Las Vegas, Costa Rica, and beyond, to Thanksgiving dinners,Christmas Eve celebrations, and countless moments shared with friends who became family.Then came their greatest gift of all—their son, Sebastian.And an engagement filled with love, celebrated with an unforgettable engagement party hosted by Pam and Steve, surrounded by the people who matter most.This is their story. This is their journey.A journey filled with love, laughter, family, friendship, adventure, spontaneity, and gratitude—and one they are endlessly thankful for, with so many beautiful memories still to come.

Our Story

After five wonderful years of building a life together with their four amazing children—Brianna,Shayla, Ashlyn, and Sebastian—Jackie and Chad had created a family filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.Knowing the moment was right, Chad planned a magical trip to New York City. Between sightseeing, Broadway shows, and the excitement of the city, Jackie had a feeling a proposal might be coming… just not when it did.During a horse-drawn carriage ride through Central Park, the carriage came to a stop on a bridge overlooking the fountain. In that unexpected moment, Chad asked Jacqueline to spend forever with him. It was perfect in every way—and a complete surprise, which made it all the more magical.
